Product Recall - Fast Charge Jump Starter 260 and Fast Charge Jump Starter 360
In March 2023 we identified a technical fault with the Ring Fast Charge Jump Starter 360 (RPPL360) where the product could short-circuit and cause overheating. We recalled this product with immediate effect.
There were no reported incidents with the RPPL260 at the time of recalling the RPPL360. Although the RPPL260 design is similar to the RPPL360, there are notable differences like battery size and power rating. Both these facts together led to the decision not to recall the RPPL260 in 2023. As a precaution the RPPL260 was removed from sale at the time of the RPPL360 recall.
In February 2024 we received one report globally of an incident with the Ring Fast Charge Jump Starter 260 (RPPL260).
We are committed to delivering and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards and have therefore decided to immediately recall this product. Current investigations show that the product can short-circuit and overheat.
This recall is further to the product recall notice issued in March 2023 for the Fast Charge Jump Starter 360 RPPL360. The product recall affects these products only. No other products or Jump Starters are being recalled.
