Autosupplies Chesterfield, the biggest single site-motor
factor in the UK, has moved its bulb business to Ring, the leading automotive
lighting specialists. The new partnership, worth in excess of £40,000 per year,
sees a large-scale restock, new merchandising and training for Autosupplies
staff to help Ring bulbs become established in this well-respected factor.
Ring is now supplying standard 12V bulbs, performance
upgrades – including Ring’s Xenon150, a 150% brighter headlamp - and 24V bulbs,
in a wide range of references to help Autosupplies’ customers get exactly the
bulb they need, when they need it.
Autosupplies has a clear focus on providing quality parts
and accessories to its professional workshop and retail customers. Ring shares
this commitment to quality, which impressed Autosupplies’ owner David Clarke,
who received a level of information and assurance regarding quality from Ring
that he hadn’t had from any other bulb supplier.
David Clarke, Autosupplies, says, “Getting our product
offering right for our customers is essential to our success, which is why we
valued Ring’s commitment to quality, and all the evidence the team there
provided to back this up. With Ring as our new bulb supplier, I feel we’ve
strengthened this offering to our customers, adding extra value in terms of
quality, range and upgrade opportunities.”
As well as autobulbs, Autosupplies stocks Ring’s tyre
inflators and tyre care products, battery chargers and starters, LED inspection
lamps and car accessories.
Jason Smith, National Accounts Manager at Ring, said, “We’re
delighted to be expanding our partnership with the award-winning Autosupplies.
The company is always pushing to deliver the best products and service to its
customers, and we’re excited to help them do that with our range of autobulbs,
workshop equipment and retail products.”
