Andy Gratton has been promoted to Managing
Director at Ring Automotive, the UK subsidiary of ams OSRAM. Andy takes over from Theresa Spencer who leaves the company at the end of August 2023, to pursue a new challenge outside the
automotive aftermarket.
Andy, who is currently Ring’s Financial
Director has stepped formally into the MD role as of 1st July. Theresa will
remain in the business until 31st August to support the hand over process.
In
the three years Andy has been with the company he has taken responsibility for a

Chain plus one of our Sales divisions. This leaves Andy strongly placed to take
on the leadership role with an in-depth understanding of the business &
importantly its people, customers & suppliers.
Andy will be responsible for leading Ring
through its next phase of growth and development as well supporting ams OSRAM
to reach its strategic goals.
Andy commented
“I feel privileged to have the
opportunity to support the Ring team as we drive forwards in delivering the
company strategy. With such a strong
& passionate team, backed by the ams-OSRAM group, we are well positioned to
continue our positive momentum in both our traditional & emerging markets”.
With Andy stepping up into the MD role, he has
appointed Scott Page to take on the role of Finance Director. Scott will assume responsibility for Finance, IT & Business Services.
Outgoing MD, Theresa said,
“This was an
extremely difficult decision to make. Ring has been very important to me during
my 7 year tenure, especially over the past 3 years as MD. It has presented me
with challenges and opportunities, and I have learnt a huge amount. However, I
am looking forward to a new challenge and I leave knowing that Ring, and the
Ring family, will be very safe under Andy’s stewardship.”
