RSC612 SmartCharger named an Auto Express Product of the Year

Auto Express has chosen the RSC612 SmartCharger as one of its Products of the Year for 2015. The list is selected by the Auto Express team and brings together the top 20 products from the year that have really stood out and grabbed the editors’ attention.

The products are selected because they bring something new to the market or because they are the best of their kind – beating other brands and models in performance.

The RSC612 was described as being “a great addition to the workshop” – with its diagnostic tools praised for identifying problems as well as being a “versatile and powerful charger with several modes”.

The RSC612 is compatible with lead, gel, calcium, AGM and EFB batteries – including those with START/STOP technology. It has four diagnostic tests that check: battery voltage status, the voltage drop and recovery during engine start, recharging performance of the vehicle’s alternator and cranking amps of the battery to check the engine’s starting ability.

It also has a seven stage charging cycle, and an AutoCharge feature that applies the safest maximum charge dependent on your battery size. Ideal for long-term connection to keep batteries in good condition when left unused for a long period of time.
