Rewarding hard work and dedication to customers.
Whether you are picking, packing or assembling in our operations department, or testing product to their limits in QA, or crunching data in sales or finance, there are wide range of roles available at Ring. Every role plays an important part in delivering to our customers. Ring’s business is built on the passion and expertise of our people. The team is what makes us a success – and it is our aim to help every employee enjoy and get the most from their working life. If you work at Ring, you will benefit from:
1. Competitive Salary.
We aim to pay market rates to all our colleagues and carry out an annual salary review.
2. Pension Scheme.
We want to help you plan and save for your retirement, so offer a Company Pension Scheme with combined employer and employee contributions of 8% of annual salary.
3. Holidays.
You will start off with 25 days’ paid holiday each year, which increases with service. In addition, we pay you for the 8 recognised Bank Holidays, so a minimum of 33 in total. As a special bonus for 2022, we are also adding the extra Bank Holiday in June for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
4. Company Sick Pay.
If you are not well enough to work, the Company supplements Statutory Sick Pay and has different levels of payment according to job role and service.
5. Product Discounts.
We want everyone who works at RING to have the chance to buy our products at a cheaper price to experience for themselves how great they are, so all employees have the opportunity to buy from us at a significant discount.
6. Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
Wellbeing is really important to us and we want to give all our colleagues the opportunity to look after their financial, mental and physical health with the help of Lifeworks, our EAP. This provides online health checks, wide ranging information, newsletters and webinars, but also the chance to call the helpline, confidentially, to talk through a problem and get advice. We also provide mental health awareness training for all employees.
7. Discounts and Eyecare Vouchers.
Through our partner, Edenred, you have access to savings through their network of retailers and brands, as well as eyecare vouchers.
8. Employee Recognition.
We like to surprise our colleagues with small tokens of appreciation to thank them for their hard work and dedication. This could include a voucher at Christmas, or a gift on Employee Appreciation Day.
9. On Site
There is plenty of free parking on site, right outside the building. We also have high standards of safety and security on our premises, which includes COVID-19 prevention measures such as temperature checks, sanitisation and clear screens in offices. We have canteen facilities with microwave, kettle, TV and vending machines to make break times comfortable and enjoyable.
10. Working Arrangements and Equipment.
For those roles which can be carried out remotely, we offer the opportunity to work from home up to two days per week. To make it easier to switch from one to the other, we provide an additional screen, keyboard and mouse and provide IT support to set up and maintain your equipment.
11. Learning and Development.
We invest in our people’s development to give them the opportunity to achieve their full potential, which means as part of our Performance Development Review (PDR) process, we focus on regular learning and development opportunities. In addition to specific skills training, RING colleagues have access to OSRAM’s E-learning portal and the newly launched ams-OSRAM University which can also be accessed via LinkedIn.
12. Long Service Awards
Linked to employee recognition, we offer long service awards when colleagues reach certain milestones in their careers.
13. Charity and Social Events
We plan different charity and social occasions through the year to give colleagues a chance to get together, socialise and raise money for good causes. Obviously, our ability to do this has been restricted during COVID-19, but we are planning some exciting events ready for when it’s safe to bring people together.
