Ring’s Xenon150s Win Auto Express Recommended Award
Ring’s Xenon150 Performance Bulbs have been awarded the Auto Express Recommended award in the magazine’s latest headlamp test.
The recently launched Xenon150s were pitted against ten other performance bulbs, all of which were assessed in GE’s light tunnel in Budapest. The bulbs were tested on the amount of light they put on the road in a Nissan headlamp at 50m and 75m. The test also checked that the light is within EC regulations.
The Ring Xenon150 bulbs won the Recommended Award, marking them out as an excellent choice when upgrading to performance bulbs. The review praised them as having “the edge when it came to ultimate brightness”, and that “overall this was an impressive test debut”.
This is the latest in a series of awards from the magazine for Ring’s products, including recent wins for the Xenon130 and RAC635 Digital Preset Tyre Inflator.
Xenon150 – Brightest for Longest
The Xenon150 bulbs are the longest lasting +150% bulbs, with no compromise on life when compared to other performance halogens. They put up to 150% more light on the road, with a beam of up to 80m longer than a standard bulb, allowing drivers to see hazards sooner. The very white colour temperature creates better reflection from signs and road markings. Find out more about the Xenon150s here.
