MAGflex Twist Remains Auto Express Inspection Lamp Winner

The MAGflex Twist Inspection Lamp (RIL3600HP) has retained its top spot position as Auto Express’ favourite lamp, receiving another five star review from the popular motoring magazine.

Auto Express revisited the test to compare the MAGflex against newcomers to the market. Once again, the magazine looked at beams, mounting options and battery life, as well as price. Having triumphed in April, it was a challenge for Ring’s lamp to retain the title with new competition.

The MAGflex once again triumphed, winning five stars. The review states that the lamp “had the edge on the main beam” and the MAGflex “clearly offered a wider spread”. The lens was also praised as it did not get as hot as the other lamp tested. The write also praises that the lamp has “plenty of mounting options”.

Step out of the shadows

The MAGflex is just one of Ring’s inspection lamp range. The Under Bonnet Lamp, launched this year, has three 5W LEDs to provide 1,000 lumens of light output, and ensures that wherever you are, you never have to work in the shadows.
