Carnation Designs Take Part In Emergency Services Show
Carnation Designs has long been at the forefront of accident & emergency ambulance technology, offering cost-effective, highly flexible programmable logic controllers, proven to be robust in the most demanding user environments. Serving the emergency services for over 20 years, few companies have an equal understanding of the niche requirements of blue-light applications and the importance of keeping life supporting vehicles on the road.
September 2017 will mark one year since Carnation Designs became a trading brand of Ring, the leading lighting and auto electrical supplier to the aftermarket and vehicle conversion sector.
In just one year Ring has invested significantly in Carnation Designs allowing them to strengthen their team with the addition of four key new members of staff across their production and engineering teams. This includes Aaron Thompson as Software Engineer and Craig Briscoe as Aftersales and Technical Support Engineer.
On purchasing Carnation Designs, Ring made it clear their intentions were to invest in the development of new products. This commitment to development and innovation is already underway and work has already begun on the next generation of genisys™
At this year’s Emergency Services Show at the NEC (20th-21st September) Carnation Designs will be proudly displaying one of West Midlands Ambulance Service’s latest A&E vehicles upon their stand, G59. Converted by O&H, the vehicle is a FIAT Ducato ambulance equipped with Carnation’s latest genisys ‘Backboard’, a product which brings together multiple pre- and post-battery electronic features onto a single ‘plug & play’ assembly for rapid installation. The saloon of the vehicle is equipped with Carnation’s Touchscreen keypad, which features multiple bespoke layers, temperature display and six physical backup keys.
Alongside showcasing genisys™ the team will demonstrate how converters can now benefit from integrated solutions utilising Carnation’s control systems in conjunction with Ring specialist lighting and power products.
