RIL82 Mini LED Inspection Lamp named Practical Caravan Winner

Ring’s RIL82 Mini LED Inspection Lamp was put through its paces as part of Practical Caravan Magazine’s pocket LED lamp test. It was ranked as the best on the market – getting five stars and named Practical Caravan Winner.

The lamp was one of nine tested. They were reviewed on the brightness of their light, the width of output, whether there’s a separate torch, what batteries they take, and how well the light can be positioned – essential for a useful illumination.

The RIL82 came out on top, being praised for “the lamp’s wide beam” and “rear magnet and fold-out hook, complemented by two strong magnets in the lamp’s base bracket” which make positioning the light “a doddle”. The design was also deemed a winner by the review, as it allows “the lamp’s wide beam to be directed precisely”. Overall, the review found that “Ring’s considerable experience making professional inspection lamps shows” – awarding the lamp top marks.

This is the second award for the RIL82 lamp in a fortnight, with it also being awarded four stars and the “Recommended” award by Auto Express.
